It's finally here. Welcome back, baseball. Eric previews Round 1 and tells you what you need to know and look for in the #ABL23 opening round between the Adelaide Giants and the Perth Heat! Plus, we play a FiveAA interview with Miguel Cienfuegos and Anthony Quirion.

General Manager Nathan Davison joins Eric from training and tells you about every single player the Giants have announced so far. 

Season 22-23: Logan O’Hoppe

Logan O'Hoppe came to Adelaide at 19-years-old in 2019-20 as a member of the Phillies organisation. This September, he cracked an MLB Line Up with the LA Angels as their #1 ranked prospect.He joins the show to talk about how his time in the ABL changed his career.

Season 22-23: Andrew Scott

Some call him "the greatest player of their generation", Andrew Scott dominated the 90s. Andrew is the all-time Giants' leader in games played (469), home runs (72), RBI (309) and batting average (.329) to name a few. In his 1996/97 MVP season he hit .414 - a record that still stands today.Scotty joins us to talk about the 90s era, card games, the Olympics and his own career / love of baseball. 
 

Season 2022-23: Rixon Wingrove

Affectionately known as "Walk-Off Wingrove" because of his penchant for the dramatic and game winning moments, Rixon Wingrove has made Adelaide his second home. He's entering his fourth year with the Giants and joined Eric to talk about his up-and-down minor league season, about coming into his own, Team Australia and why he loves South Australia. 

Season 22-23: Chris Adamson

The head coach of the Adelaide Giants chats with Eric before the start of Giants' Spring Training to answer one simple question: "What exactly do you do with the Philadelphia Phillies?"
